Controls

  1. Select a piece on the board or in hand and choose a checking destination.
  2. Choose promotion when needed, then keep checking after each automatic defensive reply.

Playing tips

  • Check whether the attacking piece can be captured and whether the king has an escape.

Common questions

Are defending pieces in hand considered?

Yes. The defender can use pieces in hand too. Watch for captures and blocks as you work toward mate.
