Hasami shogi — How to play and useful tips
Capture five by surrounding enemy lines. Preview captures, defend your pieces and resume your match.
Controls
- Move any distance along an empty row or column. Bracket an enemy line horizontally or vertically to capture it.
- Capture five pieces or leave your opponent without a move to win. Three repetitions of a position and turn, or 80 moves without a capture, draw.

- Select a destination to preview captures, then confirm. Quick input is also available.
