Pentomino — How to play and useful tips
Rotate and reflect the pieces to fill the whole target.
Controls
- Clear a stage and choose Next stage. Individual settings remain available in Standard play.
- Use every supplied piece once. Each consists of five edge-connected squares. Cover all light target squares without gaps, overlap or protruding beyond the target.
- Select a piece, rotate or reflect it, then choose its anchor on the board. Check the preview and press Place here to commit. Selection alone does not place it. R rotates and F reflects.
Playing tips
- The small corner marks the piece’s top-left. That corner may be on a dark square when all five occupied squares fit the target. Dark squares are selectable anchors too.
