Number Slide — How to play and useful tips
Begin with a two-move Number Slide board, then tackle longer shuffles. Arrange 1–8 to continue.
Controls
- Clear a stage and choose Next stage. Individual settings remain available in Standard play.
- Tap a numbered tile beside the empty space.
- Arrow keys also work. Finish with the empty space at the bottom right.
Playing tips
- Plan where the empty space needs to go, even if that temporarily disturbs a completed row.
Common questions
Is the shuffle count the shortest solution?
Choose 10, 20, 40 or 80 legal shuffle moves. The shortest solution may be shorter than that count.
Can I resume later?
Your board is saved automatically in this browser.
Are stage personal bests saved?
Yes. Open Records to see your best reached and cleared stages.
